USA lamp for general purpose test procedure Supplement
July 22, the United States issued notification G / TBT / N / USA / 1085 / Add.1, on notification G / TBT / N / USA / 1085 in terms supplement.
DOE recommends the development of energy testing program for certain categories of general purpose lamps, to support the ongoing work of energy conservation standards rulemaking. Specifically, the unit will not equipped with light-emitting diode light bulbs, compact fluorescent light bulbs or incandescent bulbs for general purpose general purpose lighting to develop new energy testing procedures to determine the initial output brightness, input power, lighting efficiency, standby power and power factor. Current recommendations are to the American Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) of the non-integrated LED lamp test standard LM-79-08, Revision DOE past suggested some testing procedures. In addition, the DOE recommendations to clarify the existing light bulb test methods and sampling program to determine the integrated light emitting diode light bulbs, compact fluorescent light bulbs, and general-purpose incandescent bulbs representative value. Related parties may issue a comment deadline until August 19.
